The origins of Medici of Florence lie in a family of craftsmen who made canvas bags for the local population in the heart of the city of Florence in the 1950s.

Over time, under the direction of a second generation of family artisans, the company evolved into the leather goods manufacturer it is today, with local production methods and materials continuing to play an important role.

The Medici of Florence brand was born in the 1990s and is characterized by the processing of vegetable-tanned cowhide, a typical Tuscan craft handed down for centuries by Florentine master craftsmen.
